ARTIST BIO
Her fascination with Celtic patterns was sparked by The Celtic Art Sourcebook by Courtney Davis, and she deeply admires the work of Aidan Meehan. Birds frequently appear in her pieces, embodying movement and grace within her structured designs. While she has explored acrylic painting, she finds fiber art particularly compelling, appreciating its added texture and dimension.
Ruth has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions, including a two-person show with Glen Ayers at the Plano Convention Center. Her work has also been featured at the ArtCentre of Plano and the Courtyard Theatre, among other venues. She has participated in various art fairs, sharing her distinctive style with a broader audience.
Currently, Ruth continues to refine her craft and explore new artistic possibilities. She dreams of hosting a solo exhibition, where her intricate designs and love for Celtic art can take center stage.
